Second GTA 6 trailer sheds more light on the story

Nothing frustrates gamers more than seeing an exciting trailer for a game that’s still years away from release. Who would possibly care about another glimpse at Grand Theft Auto 6, arguably the most hyped game in existence? [Sarcasm, obviously.]

Just days after Rockstar Games announced a delay from fall 2025 to May 2026, they unexpectedly dropped the second GTA 6 trailer—our first substantial look at the game in nearly a year and a half. Unlike the debut trailer, this one dives deeper into the story, focusing on the dynamic between dual protagonists Lucia and Jason, along with their usual run-ins with the law.

The official description sets the scene: “Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves entangled in a criminal conspiracy across Leonida—forced to rely on each other more than ever to survive.” More screenshots and character details are available on the [game’s website](https://www.rockstargames.com/VI).

While GTA 6 brings players back to Vice City (Rockstar’s Miami-inspired playground), it’s never looked this breathtaking. The visuals—reportedly captured on a standard PlayStation 5, not a PS5 Pro—are stunning, even if most footage appears to be from cutscenes. The game launches on May 26, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
